sympathy for strawberry are a "alternative rock" band based in Vienna. Driven by the need to create their own music, they not only draw inspiration from some of their favourite artists (f.e. Therapy?, A perfect circle, Portishead, Tom Waits, David Bowie, NIN, QUOTSA, ...) but also from movies, books, and life in general. 
The band has released their debut-album in 2009, an EP in 2011 and the album "Ten" in 2013 followed. The most recent release is the album "Changes" which was released in June 2019 and received praising reviews. The band has been touring in Austria, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic so far.
